Changes in the ACT and SAT

As you are probably aware, the ACT and SAT that we currently know are changing.  

SAT Changes -

• The SAT is looking to get rid of words that are only used on the SAT and bring in more practical vocabulary
• Look at what truly matters and try to make the math more reflective of those items
• Make sure the SAT meshes with what students are learning in the classroom.
• Look at models of Common Core and AP testing
• Analysis evidence
• Dropping analogies and adding more advanced math

ACT Changes -

• Will be available to test on a computer
• Free response questions

What are your opinions of the changes to the SAT and ACT?  Do you feel that standardized testing is an accurate depiction of one's intelligence?  Do you feel it is a good measurement of your ability to produce in college?
